My Story
Dr. Brittany Marino Psychological Evaluations in Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs & Plantation

I have always loved helping people and knew early on that I wanted to make it part of my everyday life. Working with children, parents, and families is deeply meaningful to me. I love guiding individuals toward the answers they’ve been searching for.

Throughout my training and career, I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of developmental, behavioral, emotional, and learning-related challenges. My passion for psychological and psychoeducational evaluations grew as I saw the impact that clarity and understanding can have on a person’s life. There is something incredibly rewarding about helping someone finally make sense of what they’ve been experiencing and watching their next steps become lighter and more confident.

My goal is to be a warm, steady guide throughout the testing process, offering not just data, but genuine support, compassion, and practical direction.

My Background in Psychology

I completed my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University in 2019. Before that, I earned double bachelor’s degrees with honors in Psychology and Sociology from Florida State University.

My doctoral internship was completed at NSU’s Psychology Services Center, where I specialized in school-related comprehensive psychological evaluations. I provided assessment and support for individuals with a variety of developmental, emotional, behavioral, and learning concerns including ADHD and executive functioning deficits, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, and academic challenges.

I have worked in both outpatient and private practice settings and completed my post-doctoral residency at Child Provider Specialists in Weston, FL, conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and psychological evaluations.

My training and experience have allowed me to develop a detailed, empathetic, and evidence-based approach to testing across the lifespan.

Fun Facts About Me

Outside of my work, I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy trying new restaurants, exploring new activities, and spending time outdoors. Whether I’m discovering a new local spot or enjoying the Florida sunshine, I love staying active, connected, and engaged with the people who matter most to me.
